World's first Head Mounted Display (HMD)

Developed technology where users could see into and interact with the world
1966
Improvements made to HMD but it is still not portable
1990
Term Virtual Reality officially coined Great media hype but technology did not live up to expectations
2013
Today Virtual Reality is applied to various sectors including healthcare & transportation
